We are thrilled to announce that this summer, our 16th annual benefit concert, Land Aid, will feature Big Head Todd and the Monsters with very special guest, The Hip Abduction!

Big Head Todd and the Monsters, platinum-selling Colorado rock group, is making an exciting encore visit to Birmingham for this event, having played an energetic set at Iron City here in March, sharing its newest blues-toned rock and roll from its 12th album, “Her Way Out.” The band’s return for Land Aid promises to deliver a pulse-pounding good time from the Avondale stage. The Hip Abduction brings a warm, summery sound to open this year’s Land Aid—the quartet from St. Augustine, Florida, have taken the band’s “island indie” music to communities across the country, opening for groups such as Slightly Stoopid and The Revivalists.

Land Aid is brought to you by Jay Industrial Repair. Ticket sales and event sponsorships contribute directly to our mission: to conserve and care for environmentally significant land throughout Central Alabama and to connect the Red Rock Trail System® throughout Jefferson County.

Land Aid has, for the last 15 years, brought together partners, supporters, friends, and fans to celebrate conservation and connection at Birmingham’s favorite local outdoor concert venue. We hope to see you on the lawn at Avondale Brewing Co. on August 1st.

Tickets are $35 in advance. VIP access is obtained through Avondale’s “A-List” Event Extra; this extra can be selected as an addition to your ticket through the ticket purchase link.
