Blue Springs Bioblitz: May 22 – May 23: Do you love nature and wildlife? We need your help! Join us any time between 8:00am on Saturday May 22nd and 8:00am on Sunday May 23rd for our Blue Springs Bioblitz to help document all the plants, animals, and fungi on a 373-acre property in Ragland, AL. No prior experience required.

Homewood Griffin Creek Clean-up: Saturday, May 8: From 8:00am – 10:00am, the Homewood Beautification Board is hosting a public volunteer clean-up at Griffin Creek in Homewood along with our Project Litter Gitter partner, Osprey Initiative. Click here to register.

Darter Fest: Sunday, May 23: Support Southern Environmental Center and Turkey Creek Nature Preserve’s educational programs and projects by coming out to Avondale Brewery for live music and fun! Purchase tickets here.
