In celebration of our 20th anniversary and the people, partners and places that have made our conservation work possible, the Freshwater Land Trust is excited to start off the next 20 years with a fresh look. The past few years have been monumental for the Land Trust, as our mission has grown in both scale and scope, while our role in the Birmingham community has increased in importance. It is vital that our marketing position continues to reflect our expanded mission. To that end, we have updated the Land Trust logo, specifically the typography, to give the mark a more modern, more energetic feel. The biggest reason for the change is our increased effort to attract the next generation of conservationists, who represent the future of our organization.

We want to extend a special thanks to FitzMartin who gifted the Freshwater Land Trust with the updated logo and website. FitzMartin has been with the Freshwater Land Trust since the beginning, having designed the first FWLT logo. The new logo features the original fish and leaf watermark with an updated font. The updated website, using the same brand design as the logo, is more user- and web-friendly.

We are excited for the future of the Freshwater Land Trust. Throughout the year, we look forward to highlighting our past success stories, featuring the people, partners and places that have made our work so significant for Central Alabama. We hope you will join us in celebrating this exciting time in our history! Thank you for your dedication for the last 20 years, and we hope you will continue to stand with us in the next 20 years as we preserve the places that matter
