On Sunday April 28, join Freshwater Land Trust for a guided hike through our conservation property in Coalburg, home to some of the highest-quality loblolly pine forest in our region! This property runs along Five Mile Creek and features beautiful hardwood bluffs along the waterway. This is a private conservation property, not open to the public except for occasional events like this hike.

This hike is moderate to difficult with uneven ground throughout and a steep hill. We will walk approximately 1.5 miles round trip. Please wear sturdy hiking boots or shoes.

Date: Sunday, April 28, 2019

Time: 2-4 PM

Location: 3051 Coalburg Road. Look for signs directing you to the parking area.

Our guided hikes are great opportunities to explore new outdoor places in Central Alabama. Friendly dogs are welcome on leashes. In case of bad weather, we’ll update you on Facebook before noon on the day of the hike.
