This year, we launched our seasonal Sunday Hike Series, hosting seven hikes and over 200 hundred people! We love sharing our work with friends, family, and supporters, and – most of all – meeting new people and enjoying the great Alabama outdoors.
Please join us in 2018! Our hikes are always free and are great opportunities to explore new places around Central Alabama.
Our spring hike dates are:
- February 4 at our Turkey Creek streambank restoration property
- March 11 at High Ore Line Trail
- April 29 at Wildwood Wildflower Preserve
- May 20 at Vulcan Trail
Be sure to follow us on Facebook for our latest event updates.
In 2017, we hosted hikes throughout Jefferson County, including the High Ore Line Trail (Birmingham), Homewood Forest Preserve (Homewood), Village Creek Canyon (Birmingham), and Black Creek Park (Fultondale).
Thank you for supporting our efforts to conserve and celebrate these beautiful places in our community! Check out our highlight videos from Village Creek and Cosby Lake to see more.
